Dr. William B. Cowherd Sr., ACSW, Retired as Regional Administrator of the New Jersey State Division of Youth and Family Services after a long and productive career as a Licensed Psychiatric Social Worker. Since retiring, he has been the long term pastor of the historic Wesley A. M. E. Zion Church in Burlington, N.J.
Under his Pastorate, the Wesley A. M. E. Zion Church has established itself as a Community Outreach Resource to the surrounding townships in Burlington County . |

Most recently Dr. Cowherd and the Wesley Congregation have built a new ediface that is ideally located to broaden its reach and increase accessibility to these target communities. At present, plans are being developed to expand the new building in anticipation of establishing new Community outreach initiatives.
Dr. Cowherd is currently accepting new patients into his private practice for Individual & Family Therapy by appointment only.
